Am I making an impact...

Am I making an effect on the lives of others? This is loaded question that comes with a blended answer. Why? Why because I can’t help but think about those that are being subjective to domestic abuse and violence on a daily basis. We see them, we know them but we say nothing because we don’t want to get involved. So then what effect are you making on their lives? But on the other hand, for women that are going through this situation that have children at home, or who maybe by themselves. Your life matters so you have to stop and ask yourself what effect or impact are you making on others lives?
People, God reminded me today that our lives matter in every capacity possible. It matters because He created and designed us with a specific purpose. When we sit back and say nothing it matters simply for the fact that a vessel of God cannot walk in their destiny because they are trapped and need assistance escaping. And when you are trapped in a situation and refuse to move, God can’t effectively use you for the ultimate purpose that you were created for.
So today, I encourage everyone to make an impact in someone’s life. Don’t be a bystander or one giving a witness statement when it’s too late. Don’t be an abused mother that raises their children to be an abuser because you are afraid to walk away. I promise you, God will hear your prays but you make to make the first move by leaving. Step out on faith and faith (God) will carry you the rest of the way…
Psalm 46: 1-2 says that God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear, even if earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea…
Make this question personal for yourself- Am I making an impact on the lives of others? And if you are not, let’s make a commitment to start today…
